Well, I’ve been working on this for a while and it’ll likely take me a little while more to complete but figured it was time to share this; the 1200R is going orange!!
I bought a spare set of tins, got the front and rear fenders from a 1200N and 883N tank. Then took them to my friend BSporty to have the painted. After a bit of a debate, decided on the Harley Racing Orange (like on the older 883R’s). For the decal, BSporty was able to have a custom version of an 883R decal made up. I still have to work out the wiring for the plate as well as mounting turn signals, but test fitted the tins to see how it would look. I think it looks GREAT!!!

Looks great! Are those the stock R shocks? Looks jacked in the back…

Thanks Kris and Brad! I’m starting to work on it again now that the holidays are winding down. Can’t wait until it’s done. Those are the stock 1200R shocks. Think the 1200N fender helps (?) with the jacked look.
