It was more like a rally than a campground to me. Lots and lots of bikes, but it looked like quite a few were trailered there. It was loud and raucous. Not bad if that's what you are looking for, but I was looking more for a campground and less of a party. We ended up backtracking to a Jellystone Park. It was kind of overrun with kids, but still more serene. Maybe it's because it was their grand opening, but it was a little to much of a party for me. Might be worth looking at another time though. Steel Steeds did not appear to be a 'Traditional Camping Experience' to me, however, I'd be inclined to dry by again and see what it's like on a non-grand opening weekend.
